    Hello,

A new stable version of eM Client 7.1.30794.0 has been released.
    Homepage
    Download
    Blog
Release History (Changelog same as version 7.1.30777.0 which has been removed from the release history webpage)
Note: When I started eM Client this morning, the internal updater kicked in and notified me that a new version was available. no need to manually download and install "over the top" this time. This was the first time during the version 7.1 series that I have seen the internal updater work and it was nice to update eM Client this way.

    @Rules - No need but thanks ;) ...

    Hey Kent,

Thanks for all your update notifications and all your additional notes!
Yes, this was indeed here too the first time since some time that the internal updater worked.

PS: It is not my main email client. I have it to see how things go and maybe at some moment to decide what I want. Just like I have OE Classic for (call it) "test" purpose.

    Hello Jan,

You are most welcome ;) ...

Yes, watching their website you see many updates pushed out but so few times that the internal updater is actually used. Whenever the internal updater actually finds an update, I find myself hoping that this will be the trend for future updates only to find out when the next update is released that I must revert to manually updating again...

    Hello,

My em Client just prompted that a new version 7.1.31849.0 was available and asked if I wanted to install it. I clicked "Yes", it was downloaded and installed, and I now have version 7.1.31849.0.
However, as of this posting, the release notes have not been updated and the download from the site is still version 7.1.30794.0 from July 26, 2017.

    Hi Kent,

    Thanks!
After your post I checked for an update.
My installed version went from 7.1.30794.0 to 7.1.31849.0
I was able to take a screenshot of the changes, see below.

    Hello Jan,

    Thanks for the screenshot!
It seems that there have been several updates since 7.1.30794.0.
Possibly internal builds or even betas :doubt: ? (since it seems they were never made public)...

    Hello,

A new version of eM Client 7.1.32088.0 has been released.
    Homepage
    Download
    Blog
    Release History
Since the release notes state "Italian localization updated" as the only changes made, you may not need this update...
As of this posting, this update is not available via the internal updater (maybe only available if you use the Italian localization?) and is not available via the downloads page. However, as always, the installer is available on the release history page by clicking on the corresponding version number to download (if you wish to install this update)...

    Hello,

It seems the comment that I made above is incorrect... Since I made the above post, a new entry has appeared on the Release History page between the last two reported updates, version 7.1.31849.0 (post #106) and version 7.1.32088.0 (post #113).
If you are currently on version 7.1.31849.0 and it has not prompted for you to update, you may want to manually update to version 7.1.32088.0 by installing it "over-the-top" as it does contain more bug fixes than just " Italian localization updated". As of this posting, this update is not available via the downloads page. However, as always, the installer is available on the release history page by clicking on the corresponding version number to download (if you wish to install this update).
I apologize for the confusion in my earlier post but the eM Client release history page is prone to random additions and/or deletions in the history by their staff. I check that page every few days and just noticed this new addition this morning, prompting me to make this post.
I hope this helps to clarify my original post...

    Hello @JohnBurns,

You are most welcome ;) ...
The entire process of following eM Client updates can be confusing. Some updates are available via the internal updater while others are not. Sometimes the download page fetches the most recent version and at other times it does not. The release history page often gets both additions and deletions to the history list which, to me, is the most confusing. The best tip that I can think of is that you can always download any version that is listed on the release history page by clicking on the version number that you wish to download.
Again, I am sorry for any confusion that I may have caused in my original post but hope that I have now clarified it enough so that it makes sense...

And thanks from me too, Kent!

All the confusion is not your fault, in no way! The company is causing it, not you my dear old friend.
And you described that problem very well in your replies # 114 and 116. Thank you!

PS: indeed I don't get the update via the internal updater.

    Hello,

A new version of eM Client 7.1.32561.0 has been released.
    Homepage
    Download
    Blog
    Release History
Note: Using the internal updater to check for updates, I was informed that "There is no update available.". Also as of the time of this post, the "Download" page still has the previous version 7.1.32088.0. I updated by manually downloading version 7.1.32561.0 from the "Release History" page by clicking on the version number that I wanted and installing "over the top".

    Hello,

Sometime today, version 7.1.32561.0 mysteriously disappeared from their website It is not available for download nor is it mentioned on the release history page. I do not know what the reason for this is. Currently the latest version available from the website has reverted back to 7.1.32088.0. I have been running version 7.1.32561.0 since it was made available on April 18 without any issues, so I have no idea what is going on. If I find out anything or they update their website again, I will post the information here.

    Hello puff-m-d,

After contact the support yesterday, the guy said to me that the 7.1.32561.0 get retired due some issue (no more details), and he apologize for the trouble, so until a new version came out i stick with 7.1.32088.0.

    Hello @Rules,

Thanks for that information ;) ... I had meant to drop them an email a bit later when I had the time but it slipped my mind. Thanks for doing it yourself :thumb: ! I had assumed that it was pulled due to some issue or bug but the website provided no information other that the installer and all relevant information about it was no longer there.
