I had agree ZAL it's very stable on my pc's as well but you would think they would drop in on an occasion just to keep us updated and answer any questions that may be posted, And what about their new "ultimate".. product line what is going on with that? They dropped the bomb on us with that and never heard anything more of it.

Well , i also agree Zemana is pretty stable right now , almost had no issue .

However , a good developer(company) shouldn't stop try to keep improve their product ,
there are still many many place they can improve .

    E.g. ,
    1.
There report function can't remember user's information , you have to enter every time by manual .

    2.
Also , the UI quality looks not good enough , Now most of PC are using Full HD Screen resolution ,
Zemana's UI seems doesn't support Full HD , if you open with Full screen ,
    they looks ugly ...

Zemana already prove they can did well on UI ,
just like Zemana Endpoint Security , it looks great !
but why the personal product have to keep using the ugly UI ?

    3.
Zemana should improve their remove function ,
still many user discover that when they try to uninstalling Zemana ,
Zemana still leaves drivers behind .
    https://malwaretips.com/threads/uninstalling-zemana-leaves-drivers-behind.67551/

Until now Zemana still didn't explain why they left those drives behind .

    -----------------------

After so long time , we do not see Zemana try to improve their product ,
    only fix few bugs , i really don't like this .... :(

Could MalwareFox Pro be a rebirth of Zemana? Wonder, if any former emp are now with them?

Someone needs to remind Mr. Tugsal that many of us "security freaks" are paranoid. Therefore, he should issue an "update" to ZAM at least every 6 months, even if it only modifies a color scheme or uses a different font for the GUI. :isay:

It's only been five months since the current version was released.
MalwareFox is a rebrand of Zemana. It's Zemana released under a different name.

Apologies if this has been covered before, but I'm trying to understand the difference between ZAM and ZAL. Is there a feature comparison chart somewhere?

There basically the same, but with ZAL you get Keystroke Logging Protection and Secure SSL. ZAL would be better for online banking, etc..

    ZAM https://www.zemana.com/en-US/Antimalware

    ZAL https://www.zemana.com/en-US/AntiLogger

While there have been no updates for quite some time, Zemana as a company is very much alive and well. They are posting on their Instagram page, just about every day.

Zemana is detecting the new german Firefox search engine (the one added in version 59) for me since yesterday (+24h), reported as safe multiple times, still showing up as threat right now.

Reporting as safe closes Firefox without any warning, which is just great:thumb: and how it should work.

I am not sure what is going on over there, but claiming that the program does not need any update, hence the reason there is none, just seeems doubtable after almost 7 months since the last update.

Zemana is currently running on 3 PCs of mine and I am not sure, if that is really beneficial or just causing problems. Is anyone actively using Zemana at the moment and sees a benefit in running it?

I have it still running but every day I wonder more and more if I should be. Even a good stable program should see updates and new features once in awhile.

I had a ZAL lifetime license for one machine, but I have uninstalled ZAM and ZAL everywhere some time ago already. Scans crashed anyway.

It's running fine for me no crashes or anything but I'm just wondering how effective it is catching nasty's nowadays.

It still runs very well for me as an on demand scanner and in my opinion still has good detection rates. I just messaged Zemana to find out when they will be releasing a product update.

I've never used the real-time protection.
