Mozilla Firefox Browser Stable Version Releases

More updates, I think by end of the day, I ll have done more updates today than any day this past 9 years.

I have my Performance Content Limit set to 4 but FF seems to be struggling on all of my machines. Even trying to load a single page can sometimes take forever to load, like these forums home page for example. Not always but sometimes.

I'm wondering if it is partly a DNS issue I'm having.

 

Thanks. Updates for Windows, Sandboxie and Firefox all the same day is too much for me. I ll probably make a cut after doing Windows updates and Sandboxie in Windows 7. And leave Firefox in W10 and W7 for tomorrow, and Sandboxie in W10 for tomorrow as well.

I just ran Steve Gibson's DNS Benchmark and it showed I'm using the fastest nameservers, they're 100% reliable, return errors and reply to all query types, so it doesn't look like that's it.

 

Anyway, that's probably off topic for this thread.

Absolutely, 8 updates in one day. My bookends.....Windows updates in W10 and ended with Sandboxie in W10. All else in between.

I've just had my HP machine prompt me for a bunch of updates just after I thought I was done for the day.

After two months, I've abandoned Firefox for 360 Extreme Explorer again. I like the new Firefox a lot, but there are some things which I prefer about Chrome based browsers.

I was planning to stick with Firefox, due to it being faster, but I found that the Adguard extension in Chrome was causing slowdowns. I removed Adguard and now 360 is at least as fast as Firefox when paging up and down in heavy websites.

Do you have any evidence to support your claims of spyware? Or do you say that becuase you don't trust Qihoo or Chinese software in general?

 

qihoo is questionable, its reputation is questionable. and the list is very long:

i dont have doubt that their software is legit, but the PP is not. in fact quihoo is concerned from data collecting for china:

all free antivirus are gathering personal data, but for reason quihoo seems one of the bad guys.

@Brummelchen I have not doubt that Chromium is a better option. But there is functionality in 360 that is not available in Chromium and almost all other Chromium based browsers.

 

Mind sharing what are those functionality? (genuine question)
