Actually, you are the reason I asked Umesh to add the connect out/in control to CCAV. :thumb:

OK thanks guys. The reason I asked is because it seems to be quite lightweight. But I did read somewhere it's not using any hooking, which reduces the chance of conflicts, is this true? But if it's not, then how on earth is it doing the sandboxing.

Hey Guys! Just to let you know- With the past release Comodo (no idea about RC's as I Never Ever would consider using one) has upped the quality of their already superb sandbox. The one issue that I had with it has been resolved- and they made this upgrade without a peep.

Appreciate that note of new info @cruelsister

Awesome to see the Comodo lab is keeping the light on at nights so extended absent users won't miss a beat after being out of the loop

Awesome news! Any change to your recommended settings?

Should I disable Windows Firewall while Comodo is installed? (it doesnt disable automatically with Comodo).

I actually did a video on it a few years back- it was a RAT could be constructed that dropped a dll into an unusual place. The sandbox allowed the drop and resultant dll activation which annoyed me to no end (and led me to harass Comodo about it). Note that if the HIPS was active the process could have been detected and reversed.

But as I stated this issue has been resolved and everything is now Rainbows and Unicorns.

Nightwalker- No, you can leave Windows Firewall (and WD) active. CF gets along fine with them in place. The only thing that is not needed is UAC, which CF security matches and betters.
