Thanks, I just picked up the deal....I haven't run this software for awhile. I filled in a survey, explaining why. Maybe, they will take note.

 

1) Does license period start when it's purchased or when first activated?
2) Does Emsisoft license and/or Ashampoo license have an activate by (expire) date?
3) Does renewal loyalty discount go against the then full retail price or against what I paid ...e.g., 50% off ?
4) May I save this e.g., 50% off key to use (some time in the future) as renewal key?

I'm waiting response from Emsisoft support for my 3) & 4). Emsisoft support has no particulars re 2) Ashampoo.

Sorry for the late reply, so:

1) The license period starts when the license is activated in the software.

2) By default, the Emsisoft license must be activated within the first 10 months from the date of purchase.
See the FAQ on the Shop page (1st item): https://www.emsisoft.com/en/order/software/

3) This promotion is only valid for new licenses, not for renewal purchases.

4) The coupon code is only valid during the Black Friday-Cyber Monday period and will not be active afterwards.
Also, it only works with new Emsisoft Anti-Malware licenses, not renewals.
