@Triple Helix Do you have any suggestions regarding the high CPU use? I guess my computer is not fast enough, but it would help if there was the option to lower CPU during scans.

@roger_m All I can say is contact support and ask them Webroot Customer Service I showed you my CPU usage but I have an i7-CPU I know my brother has a Core 2 Duo CPU and haven't had time to look at his. Also I never seen any complaints before about the CPU usage as WSA is the lightest. How many Processes do you have running on that system? Also how many [ U] files do you have in your scan log? More then 30? Maybe you just need some files White-Listed so again contact support.

@Triple Helix I do have 80 processes running and a large number of files in the scan log. I will contact support to see what they can suggest. Thanks.

one of my fav things about WSA is when processes that webroot's own systems show as "known" don't end up being set as such on an endpoint, requiring either support intervention or product reinstallation. or, another, when something is no longer "monitored" and the client doesn't clean up the journal and you end up with 10s of gigs of wasted space. good stuff.

I am getting the same thing, even on Wilders Forum. Strange. Must be a communication bug in the BrightCloud?

Reputational analysis/lookup of Webroot in Brightcloud, old and beta version. I prefer the original over the beta. ;)

    Hi BurnDaddy,

I still show the Webfilter as being orange all day in Firefox and Chrome. Odd behavior...o_O Not sure if a clean install would fix it either.

Edited: Yea Welcome to the Forum BurnDaddy! I was surprised to hear from you too.

Now this is really weird. I had a green check mark, went to make a cup of coffee, came back to Wilders and it's orange again. Maybe Webroot's trying to fix it.

Hey thanks @ProTruckDriver and @SSherjj . Yes, late to the party, as usual. With things being as they are, I thought I'd look for an alternative to the sad state of affairs elsewhere. ;)

Hey @Tarnak , love your avatar, but I can't tell for sure who it is. It looks like either Jackson Browne, or Iggy Pop. Am I right?

    Have a good one, everybody,
    BD

Yes, it is Jackson Browne. Someone in the audience must have ticked him off that day. ;) BTW, welcome to Wilders Security forum. :)
