    If you see the tabs General, Sharing, Security, Previous Versions and Customise, you see a folder's properties, not a file's properties.
    Open the folder to see the files.

    @Stupendous Man

    I think SUMo extracts the company name from the 'Copyright' info. Since ProtonVPN doesn't have a company name under 'Copyright' SUMo cannot display it

    You're most welcome.

    I don't know.
    I assume Kyle can can provide clarity on that.

    @Kyle_Katarn,
    I noticed SUMo detected avidemux_jobs.exe instead of avidemux.exe
    I corrected that for my SUMo installation, but I don't know if the same misdectection may be on other systems as well.

    That's true, that's the cause.
    To be reported to ProtonVPN dev !

    No, it doesn't.
    Relevant file properties are the same for both files.
    So there is no real issue.
    But I thought the avidemux_jobs.exe detection was rather odd, and as we were talking about SUMo detection and file properties, I thought it was good to report. ;)

    I said "I corrected that for my SUMo installation".
    But not permanently.
    When I run a SUMo "Scan", in File Path I see that once again avidemux_jobs.exe is detected instead of avidemux.exe.

    To have SUMo detect avidemux.exe, I need to close SUMo, open it, and use "Add" to add avidemux.exe.
    This replaces the avidemux_jobs.exe detection with the correct avidemux.exe detection.

    But again, when I do a SUMo "Scan", once again avidemux_jobs.exe is shown in File Path.

    As mentioned, relevant file properties are the same for both files, so there is no real issue, but nevertheless, it is odd that SUMo seems to have a preference in detecting avidemux_jobs.exe over avidemux.exe.

    Yes, they're both in C:\Program Files\Avidemux 2.7 - 64 bits

    The issue seems to be systematic on my system, at least in the standard user account, which is in which I use SUMo.
    Or do you mean systematic for more or all users? I don't know about that, of course.
    And as always, would you be so kind to create the bug report? Thanks very much.

    After updating to the current version, I briefly saw some small flashing text that said running in degraded mode. I assume this new enhancement is a way to make people want to buy, or is this just temporary?

    I saw this flashing text for the first time today. Don't know what that means. I'm using the Pro version, so I really don't know why SUMo tells me something about a "degraded mode". Hm... strange.

    I updated SUMo to the current version five days ago. I didn't see the "running in degraded mode" message until today. And today, I notice that SUMo "Check" is rather slow.
    I think SUMo's primary server may be offline, this being the cause of the rather slow check and the "running in degraded mode" message.
