I am presuming v5 ... not sold on going through a reseller though.

    Again, @Lockdown on MT:
There is no guarantee that contractual arrangements with channel resellers will continue into the future; sales and support of Personal via any particular or all channel resellers can end at any time.

Though Blue Planet-works must have sanctioned this.

OK :). I was under the impression there is only one V5 so far. Maybe I'm wrong.

Come on Paul, you know that between major version there are always (I assume I'm correct) been intermediate builds.

You need to have a valid license then contact the support team, why?

Hi @Lockdown can you please explain how AppGuard is able to block the Process Doppelgänging or is able to block only traditional spreading vectors such as drive-by downloads (phishing, exploits etc.) where all attacks begins.

I have just migrated to a new Win 10 machine after my old Win 7 one died :'( and am about to install AppGuard on it.
I have a license and the installer for AG 4.4.6.1 and managed to save the appguardlic and AppGuardPolicy xml files from my old Win 7 machine.
Do I need both of those files to save me having to redo my settings and how do I add them if it is possible to migrate them from Win 7 to 10.

Personally I'd re do my setting. Doesn't take all that long.

First don't forget to uninstall AG while online, if not you will lose an activation during the re-install.
About the license i never copy it, i just re-input it while installing.
you can get it in : https://license.blueridge.com/solo/customers/Default.aspx

About AppGuardPolicy.xml, just overwrite the default file with the one you saved.

1- stop Self-Protection, set AG to "Allow Install".
    2- Copy your files to : C:\Users\(your username)\AppData\Roaming\blue ridge networks\appguard.
3- Sign out > Sign in.
    4- Re-enable Self-Protection.
5- Redo the procedure for every account on the system.

so there is no way to buy appguard now?

that v5 link is dead 404.

Also is v4 better than v4 given everyone seems to be staying on v4.

Appguard always was very expensive, I guess they priced it high as didnt like the home market, hence the withdrawal of sales?
