    I'd say it's no longer almost but actually IS a criminal offense to have a conscience. Not hard to find examples either.

    There is a bigger picture to all of this, a much bigger picture but it seems only the few want to see it and those that do are branded crackpots, lunatic fringe, anti semites, liberals, leftists or whatever other disparaging term can best be used to dismiss an opposition without engaging them in an open debate that they know they cannot win.

    That is true.
    There are some parts in human history that are very vague, unclear and if one want's to get objective information about it, try to study it, or debate it: not a chance.

    Luckily, even tought Internet is heavily censored about the subject, libraries still allow reading old newspapers (especially reading New York Times issues of pre-1900 and around that time is very eye opening) about the whole thing ...

    And of course there is that one book (instruction manual actually) that one bearded fellow writted long before war ....
