    OK, thanks :)
Maybe you'll find a way to block them by WFC ;)

I've seen this a few times now. It shows on screen for twenty seconds while your at the machine and can't be disabled in the free version

    Avast Ad.PNG

And there are the ads on the main UI, but they don't bother too much.

Try to block in your firewall AvastUI.exe.

Did you find any alternative to AppGuard?

hey G1111, do you think that you need Norton ConnectSafe if your using EAM? I find that EAM works very well blocking unsafe websites. For me if EAM misses something then MBAM, Windows Smartscreen or even Chrome itself will block them.

No haven't really looked yet as AppGuard is still fully functional and hopefully will be so for some time to come. There is also no new version. 4.4.6.1 is equivalent to the latest version 5. I would probably look first at VoodooShield or NVT EXE RP.
There is nothing really like AppGuard though and it works well with EAM and HMPA. Hoping Blue Ridge changes their minds although doesn't seem likely.

Probably not. I like block lists though. I have also added hpHosts and MVPS hosts lists to EAM. I update them daily. Also use Avira Browser Safety and uBlock Origin addons for Firefox.

What is the main advantage of doing this, instead of just including via uB0?

It will be implemented in all browsers rather than the one hosting uBO.
I do it too, in fact it was the subject of one of my old EAM guides long long time ago on MT :)

Real-time protection: Malwarebytes Premium and Windows Defender, Windows Firewall Control
Firefox hardening: uBlock Origin, Bitdefender Traffic Light, Norton ConnectSafe, Avira Browser Safety (recently added)
    On-demand scanners: HitManPro, adwCleaner, VTUploader
    Backup: Iperius Backup

My security setup has only slightly changed. Now I'm toying with the idea of replacing Windows Defender with Emsisoft Anti-Malware or Bitdefender Antivirus Plus. Still thinking about it ... ... ...

Question: Is Malwarebytes Anti-Malware (Premium with real-time protection) compatible with Emsisoft Anti-Malware or should I stick with my current setup (Malwarebytes Premium + Windows Defender)?

Same old boring setup but solid as granite.

You know your security is pretty tops when the only disruptions you find come from Windows bugging something up itself :p

Easter, my set up is similar to yours; SBIE, NTVERP, Shadow Defender, WFC, and Mullvad (VPN) along with IFW. (All systems should have a good imaging app as a last line of defense.) It's light, yet solid!

    100% Spot 0n you are.

My backup support plan used Macrium Reflect + Drive Snapshot as insurance.

I used to love Drive Snapshot. I like how powerful it is for being so small. Sadly once I started dual-booting Windows and Linux I had to stop using it because it cannot image multiple partitions inside the same .sna file.

Also, when using the new Creators updated for Windows 10, I experienced an issue between SBIE 5.2 and Win10 CU; everything run inside the sandbox would run dreadfully slow. SBIE 5.21 beta fixes that issue.
