Uninstalled EIS, enabled Windows firewall and installed EAM and updated to latest beta. Have a request to support to extend my EIS license.
@guest Is that just cuz it's the beta? Will licensed EIS users also have to contact support for their license extension?
My license was extended two months. I guess it's based how much time is left on your existing EIS license. Mine would have expired the first week of January.
@G1111 Did you have to contact support to get your extension or was it given automatically when you "upgraded" to the "new" EAM ?
It looks like G1111 contacted Support as was said in post #2. If you don't want to wait until after 2 October, I suggest you contact Support and request an extension to your EIS licence for EAM.
Yes because by using the beta channel, you kinda "push" the migration. No, EIS users (that aren't in the beta channel) will get the extended license automatically when the program will migrate the 2nd October. Exact. Best way to do.

guest - I am currently running Beta updates of EAM (already switched form EIS) and would like to switch back to stable EAM updates and plan to do so after the conversion from EIS is over. Please post when this process is completed if you can. I assume this will be sometime after October 2.
Important info about the Beta : by unticking the WDSC integration option in EAM (in settings) , you get back Windows Defender and its Controlled Folder option.
