    Some false positives, but still a good job by Microsoft.

    Also we finally get to see a result with Emsisoft auto resolve mode.

    BullGuard = Blocked: 100% - 8 FP. :thumb:

    F-Secure = FP champion (38 ) for one more month on the row!!! :argh:
    With that number of fake alerts, this AV is worst than a virus, imo.

    Avast inconsistent...god knows there was more than once where I asked to improve the age old sample submission system and they never improve that part.Years gone by and still the same.

    What's going on with Seqrite, Ad-Aware and eScan? I thought the BD signatures should have been good enough for at least 95%. Plus, all three products use BitDefender Active Virus Control, so am surprised at the poor showing. VIPRE is doing better though it also uses the AVC from BitDefender, so this is a bit confusing.

    I know Windows Defender is a totally different beast since ~1 year ago, and improving every day. But technically 100% already on AV-C? *Whistles*

    No real surprise to me (or Firecat no doubt) that Bullguard is testing better these days. This product and AVG have proven much more reliable than various testing results for a LONG time in my experience.

    They must offer a single product: avast; no more AVG.

    To be fair, Avast is now a fairly well done amalgam of the old AVG and the old Avast.

    Indeed!

    AVG is still around it isnt completely gone or lets say it may be gone in some years well if avast wants it to but not right now since they dont want to upset all the happy avg users since avast's style in AVG is new it will take some time to make them to grow to like the new things.

    i still say i think they should start merging but do it very slowly. offer people a small pop up that says something like avg and avast are now one would you like to switch over to avast. and if they click ok have it uninstall avg and then install avast for them. that imo would be my ideal scenario if i was an avg user.
