And I don't blame Comodo or any other security company, I only blame Microsoft, I only want to have a freedom of choice to decide if I want to disable protection from Windows 10 Pro or to install another 3rd party software protection so that it can protect me instead of Windows 10 Pro own protection.

Also, cruelsister have you ever had problems with Windows 10 Pro update/upgrade?

OK, but can Comodo firewall by itself be configured so that it can be superior to Windows 10 firewall, superior to Tiny Wall and to Windows firewall control?
Sorry for asking you this but my friend, we just discusses about Comodo and he really, really tries to have Comodo on his computer, what he was doing is video-instalment of all kinds of shows for television, so he did install Comodo Internet security-than he had to remove it, because video-instalment simply did not work at all.
Now he is trying the same thing with Comodo Firewall Pro-all I can say never install the entire internet security only its best part in this case this is firewall, HIPS (safe mode by default) and sandbox Auto-Containment-but he is not sure if he needs to use restricted level or untrusted level, or simply leave auto-containment on default level, like he decided to do this with HIPS-on default level.
Why internet security has so much problems-it seems to me that Comodo Internet security is simply an overkill and should be abandoned this is why you get too many bugs and that's why my friend cannot even start the program, I think he is using program Adobe something, I have to ask him but it's adobe software for titles of each show that he needs to do every single week, that's why he will try Comodo firewall pro on default level-but is default level of Comodo Firewall Pro enough for protection (and of course he does use auto-containment on default level-this is why I asked you do you recommend restricted or untrusted level since he is not sure this would cause his software for titles of shows not to even start when you click on it (at least that was the case in Comodo Internet Security-what do you recommend, cruelsister1-big thanks in advance!

Imaude can you or anyone else here on this thread give me the link of Comodo Firewall download, NOT Comodo antivirus, NOT Comodo interne security, just pure Comodo Firewall download, because every time I want to download Comodo Firewall it seems tht I'm downloading entire internet security.

Yes, the offline installer is for the full suite only, but you can't uncheck the AV component.
If you want the firewall only, you have to use the online installer: http://download.comodo.com/cis/download/installs/5045/standalone/cmd_fw_installer.exe

I have the same problem and have had it for three months. Not really bothered as I turn off WD or use a different AV. Currently just using CFW by itself.

    Yes.
    Victek,
I'm scared of upcoming major Windows 10 Pro upgrade, what are your settings and rules in HIPS, Sandbox/Containment and in firewall sections in Comodo to avoid all conflicts and avoid all bugs?
    Big thanks in advance.
Just for the record, in security and maintenance in Control Panel it says to me that Windows Defender is active, but what would happen when in upcoming major Windows 10 Pro major upgrade Windows defender will have protected folders section-how I'm going to enter it, if windows defender security center cannot open?

I use Meghan's (cruelsister) rules. She also says you don't need an AV so I'm not particularly worried about not having WD (or any other AV) enabled. A few posts back she posted it was OK to run Windows firewall alongside CFW so I enabled it. Meghan runs CFW on a number of systems so I'm sure she'll post if there is a problem, and tell us the solution. I also run Pro.

So, you disable HIPS and you have auto-containment on untrusted levelo_O?
However in a fiewall section I have enabled/checked do protocol analysis, filter IPv6 traffic, 127.0.0.1, block fragmented ip traffic and that's pretty much about it.
What would happen if you put HIPS into safe mode with no alerts?

Also, if I do all this for Comodo firewall, I have another question-what is your firewall configuration?
Wait people, first I have to ask you; is it possible to run Windows 10 firewall-both private and public firewalls with Comodo Firewall-because maybe the problem is because I turned off both private and public firewalls on my Windows 10 Pro 64-bit.
But what Comodo firewall configuration do I need to adjust to Windows 10 firewall-both private and public firewalls!!!!
    Can anyone help me?
Maybe because of this, my Windows Defender security center doesn't want to openo_O?
    Big thanks in advance.

After today's CFW update I am now able to open WD security centre. Have rebooted two PCs to check.

Please help me out, people, I'm so much in panic:
Aren't you scared of newest Windows 10 Pro upgrade on October 17th, 2017? Because of the incompatibility issue with Comodo Firewall?
Trust me people, I would be the happiest man alive if I could keep Comodo Firewall on my Windows 10 Pro 64-bit, but I'm so scared, aren't you?

Yes, I'm hyper-paranoid about bsods, cmdagent gets crushed and similar problems, how come you are not scared?
Maybe because my entire famility is using this one computer, and if Comodo or Windows 10 Pro or their incompatibilities cause some Windows 10 crushing or Comodo Firewall crushing or losing data or whatever-that's why I'm so much paranoid.
Can you all who use Comodo Firewall give any advice at all?
    Big thanks in advance.

Cool- Relax. Comodo and many other vendors do not typically react to every new OS beta build as these can change weekly. It in no way means that when the Win10 update is finally dropped compatible versions of whatever application won't be available.

Not worried about the Win 10 upgrade. It's over a month away. I won't worry until it arrives. You can ruin a perfectly good present by worrying about the future.

IF Comodo happens to not work, a fix will quickly be available.

And the best practice is, NEVER upgrade Windows on the first day... let other people be the "guinea pig" :p

What will happen if I turn on Exploit guard, netwrok protection, protected folders in the next Windows 10 upgrade? And how would Comodo's cloud based behaviour analysis be compatible with Windows Defender Antivirus with cloud based behaviour analysis?
    Big thanks in advance!
