I followed most of the threads we are referring to. I remember right it was not only Dan but Lockdown too. The thread became so volatile, it was closed at times. Still the bickering didn't stop. And so you won't see Lockdown posting here anymore. See last page of AppGuard thread.

I don't know what is going on with VoodooShield, but it makes me somewhat uneasy. I don't need additional problems, so I have uninstalled VS at least for now - just like I did Kaspersky earlier. I am not very technically knowledgeable so I avoid making myself additional problems. Just over-cautious, I guess. Will leave questionable apps to those who know what they are doing.

Even some developers and reps. are immature to handle criticism.
It is a job I wound not want.

Couldn't have said it better myself.
Maybe we can encourage Dan to get a VS forum up and running ?

Not arguing with you, just curious as to why you are not interested in MT?

Please, to each his own, let's not get into a brawl over it.
I know you are asking perfectly innocently, but it is a Pandora's box. Let's not open it.

Some of you have indicated here that you are in private contact with Dan, so therefore can I ask if when he has the next version ready to be released, would you be able to post a link to enable VS to be updated.

I have to say I'm amazed it has come to this and the drama that is unfolding here and with the revelations that another developer involved with what I thought was just some sort of disagreement over what software was better at preventing whatever it was all that time ago has also had the same 'adjustment' made which as LowWaterMark indicated in the other thread... can't be gone into specific detail due to the forum policy.

Anyway... it's a strange world we live in for sure... so I just hope we can still get the update links posted here if that's allowed and possibe.

    Just the people.
Hope we can still get the update links, like you said.

I looked at the Calendar of Updates site, no offense but..............:'(.

Is that going to be the one and only site from now on? If so, I'll have to adapt I guess. Happened to spot VS signed in and then leave a little while ago. I'd like some news on my paid software, specifically the 4,0 version, which was described and touted so much. If this is being irritable, so what? Would like a crumb or something.

Maybe a mailing list could be set up for those that want to be kept up to date? That would include me.

The old COU was lost and all data so we are trying our best to get it going again since this: https://www.wilderssecurity.com/threads/cou-calendar-of-updates-user-forum-is-down.373793/

OK, @Triple Helix. At least one line of communication is potentially open, maybe two counting Malwaretips. Thanks.

For those on paid subscription there should not be any issue with updates, nor support through Voodooshield Support email.
For the rest I can see how inconvenient would be not having this situation resolved with a return to normalcy.
Though I signed in on MT to keep up with VS development I hope to resume my following things up in here soon.

I wish. I have a support ticket via VS website and thru PM here, what more can I do? Haven't heard back but I understand the delay. Still, you're used to his quick and good responses thru HERE. Plus, you get the beta downloads HERE, not thru internal updates. Like I said, work it out, this is still the ideal, one stop site.

    I see your points.
Like you said this is still the ideal, one stop site. I really hope things go back as they were soon.
