The executables are not digitally signed.

    Hi @Aura,

Thank you for the feedback. ;)

False positive detection is probably caused by Dynamic engine (it is in early-stage and may cause FPs).
Dynamic engine will be improved with newer versions. Reported issues will be fixed in the next version.

    Regards,
    Kardo

So is this 3.7.0.1 considered a stable version or a beta?

Because your website shows 3.5.0.195 as stable version?

    Thanks

the version status of 3.7 is beta, and 3.5 is stable.

FWIW ~ Crystal Security is only user interface (on my setup) that renders with cutoffs. YMMV

Q: with Restore Selected File should I still have item listed with Quarantine Files.

Q: does it make sense that I can delete above bqe File. Shouldn't quarantined files be encrypted & protected from erroneous delete or escape. File has not been exonerated as far as I know.

Um,....CS Help File, CS Documentation, CS User Guide....?

    Hi @bjm_,

Thank you for the feedback. Sorry about late reply.
Text-cut off issue is noticed but there is no timeframe for the fix.
Restore Selected File should restore file to original location. Also it should be decrypted to original state.
Quarantined file is encrypted and extension should be .cbqu If extension is not .cbqu then it is strange. I will look into it. I will add additional protection for quarantined files.
Documentation, Help files will be added in the future.

    Regards,
    Kardo

    HI

Just downloaded the 3.7x version. I noticed it updates its database. Is the database on my drive? If yes, does that mean I can use CS for offline scanning? Is the 'Quick' and 'Advanced' in Checkup for this purpose?

    Thanks

    Hi @guest,

Thanks for the interest Sorry about late reply.

Currently there is no plan to include VoodooAI engine.

    Hi @NiteRanger,
    Yes.
Yes. There are 3 engines which can work in offline mode: Dynamic, Heuristic and Static.
In Checkup mode, all files will be analyzed with in-house. If file is suspicious to offline engines then it will be analyzed with Collective engine.

    Regards,
    Kardo
