    I was able to reinstall AdGuard, and it work now. I guess the upgrade my Microsoft corrupted AdGuard's installation. It does take a very long time for Windows to load to the desktop after installing AdGuard again. t probably just have too many Security Softs installed at the moment. I would trouble shoot it, but I don't have time at the moment. I may do a little trouble shooting with it soon.

    I don't think it's the program that blocks the ads, it's the filter lists. As far as I understand it, these programs are conduits for the various lists. If you use the same lists in either program, they should block the same ads on any given website. Obviously each program has its own settings to tweak things somewhat but I believe it is the filters that are doing the ad blocking.

    Should adguard for windows be protected by HMPA and WSA or should AGFW be allowed in HMPA and WSA.

    As a general rule of thumb you normally, either leave settings as they are, or make exceptions for other Security Products so that one Security Product does not interfere with the functionality of another. I'm the cautious type so I usually make exceptions beforehand so I don't risk conflict. I don't use HMPA very often though so it's possible there could be some special circumstances i'm not aware of, but I think it's probably unlikely.

    Can someone please explain these extensions to me and how they work? I do not have an extension installed in Chrome. Looks like these are userscripts of some sort. Can one of you Adguard experts point me in the right direction?

    Thank you.

    @Trooper
    the first one is ag equivalent of abp's ehh.
    the other two are self-explanatory.popup blocker blocks popups and the last one provides website ratings from wot.

    I think you need JavaScript enabled in browser?
    That was why I had extensions disabled.

    Roger that, but how do you set them up? Or do they just work? I have enabled and disabled and have not noticed them working.

    Why did you change your handle?:cool:
    And how did you add the formerly: under your new handle?

    I guess "formerly:" is automatically added after a name change.
