    Wow.

    The website is too busy to show the webpage.

    Had to wait my turn in line. D/L is finally on.

    I wonder what is the correct way to get chrlauncher to consistently install new chromium version whenever a new update is found. I have used the otherwise great tool for some months now on two workstations (one with using a SUA, the other running under an admin account).

    On both systems, when a new version is recognized, the download is started (when clicking the Download button) and executed, but very often the same (i.e. the old) version of chromium launches after the installation.

    It's more an exception than a rule to get the update to complete successfully without having to try the update several times.

    Code:
    ChromiumArchitecture=64
    ChromiumAutoDownload=false
    ChromiumBringToFront=true
    ChromiumIsSilent=false
    ChromiumType=stable-codecs-sync
    ChromiumCheckPeriod=-1

    Interestingly, at the moment ChromiumLastVersion=59.0.3071.115, but I still seem to be running build 109, after about 5-6 attempts to install the new version...

    @mike83 I would suggest to email the developer and ask him directly. His email is on the bottom left corner in the Contacts menu of his product page: http://www.henrypp.org/product/chrlauncher
    Alternatively, if you have a Github account you could file a bug report. But emailing the developer directly would probably be best.

    @mood Thanks for the heads up. It appears that a minor point release just came out shortly after your post as well.

    Hello @WildByDesign,

    You are most welcome ;) ...

    I used for a long time Nik's 64 bit lkgr builds (No sync • No WebRTC • No Widevine) but when Chrome/Chromium did away with lkgr (last known good revision) and went with lkcr (last known compilable revision), there started to be way too many bugs and issues. I switched to the stable builds myself about a month ago. Chromium without the extra bloat from some of the Google additions plus with all of the codecs added runs great... I use the 64 bit stable No sync • No WebRTC • No Widevine (with all codecs from Nik) and have never had an issue with those components removed. I do not install Flash either and have only seen maybe two sites where it was still needed. HMTL5 works fine for me and I might as well get used to it as Flash is on its way out anyways....

    i assume you dont use windows 10 because on win10 the sandbox is not usable without crashing anything.

    Hello @Brummelchen,

    I am on Windows 10 Pro 64 bit Version 1703 (OS Build 15063.502). I am not having any issues at all as Nik's 64 bit stable no sync build is running fine...

    same here but i cannot use the sandbox - all extensions are crashing and chromium sites are not shown, only a black page. it was users input to let me check that out and i got same, i tried v62, v60/59/58 and all had same issue. i found several threads about and pointed out that the update patch 3150513 is causing it (compatibility list for win10). my LTSB is current patch level 1603 (no 1703 available). the issue started early 2017.

    Hello @Brummelchen,

    I assume then it must be an issue with 1603 as I am on 1703 and have no issues with the sandbox? I have never has any issues on any previous Windows 10 versions and Nik's builds, except for an occasional Chromium bug when I used the lkgr (dev) builds...
