I'm getting logged out by Wilders. I've logged in successfully 3 times in the last 10mins or so.
The first time I got logged out when I tried to edit a post.

Do you have Stay logged in option enabled when logging in?
If not, that might cause a problem.

Hi minimalist, that screen was what I saw so I think you're correct. The thing is I thought "stay logged in" means always ie including when you leave the site. Since I delete cookies on browser close and close browser after each site visit I didn't think it was relevant. I'll see what happens on this visit.

Keep cookies enabled for trusted websites.

    Delete from untrusted websites.

Unless I tick that box I am logged out after so long being inactive. With that box checked I am not logged out unless I close my browser.

I have my browsers set to delete cookies on closing too.

@Krusty - interesting. Thanks for that. Do you have a time frame for "inactive". I'm pretty sure I was busy scrolling around and doing stuff and getting logged out at the same time. It never occurred to me that checkbox meant anything other than a persistent login.

I couldn't give you a time frame. I've noticed it while watching live YouTube streams recently though.

Yes, I've noticed that also, once I unchecked that option.

"Stay logged in". Doesn't this feature save credentials in cookies then poses a security risk?

Not if you log out before leaving forum.
Also credentials are not saved in cookie. You only get session cookie.

Yes, those links explain it in more detail.
