Does anyone have any recommendations on running something along side WD on Windows 10? Almost every AV I have tried has caused one issue or another, especially with performance. Whether it is PC performance, web slow downs etc. Feel free to PM me so as not to muck up this thread.

    Thanks.

Can anyone tell me what additional protection I would be getting by installing VoodooShield when I already have HitmaPro.Alert installed?

I'm not familiar with VS and recently won a license for it, but I don't know if it would be redundant running alongside HMPA. Maybe someone can explain the differences and if I should add it to my security setup.

You can run Comodo Firewall at cruelsister's settings, it won't slow down your PC and it will give you great protection

Put simply, VS is an anti-exe and HMP.A is an anti-exploit and anti-ransomware program.

Pictures that I have posted is CS settings.
You have firewall and sandbox set very good with not so much pop-up window.
Everything good is runing fine, everything not good is sandboxed.

Do you enable cloud protection? I also do not want the browser etc.

I suggest to enable cloud lookup to avoid too many false positives, but you can disable website filtering.
Upon installation you can opt out for chromodo browser, geekbuddy, yahoo stuffs and such

    For booth of you.
Install Comodo Firewall (check options before installation and uncheck what don't want) and just do what is showing in the pictures in my post.

    Simple and effective :)

Done! So is that all there is to it?

I noticed it has been blocking Chrome. Assume this is ok since I am able to browse the internet and update it etc.

Sorry it has been many years since i have run a software firewall. Especially something as powerful as Comodo. Are you running the free or paid version?

    Thanks again for your help.

EDIT: I just re-read the logs. Looks like my Chrome browser is trying to talk to my Chromecast via UDP ports. For now I am leaving it as is lol.
