Herberta, I have used TinyWall about a month or so in my "upgraded" W10 and it is working just as fine as with W7. I did get once a prompt to need allow UAC admin password with my standard user account after I updated Avast antivirus to a new program version, but that is all. So there might be something in your system causing you the frequent need for the admin password. I did allow all outgoing with avast update.

About W10 CU (or any insider version) I have no knowledge as it has not yet been offered to me. Maybe TinyWall uninstall and reinstall might help?

Is your version activated? I am trying WFC again and didn't activate it but I can see connection logs either.

But that is not the latest insider update, sorry. The only thing I have changed on my system is the update.

Yes it is activated. My connection log looks normal. Rules are being created as normal but when you try to delete one it just get renamed to a random GUID. You can use the Windows native firewall administration tool to delete it though.

Probably for the same reason that WFC is working on the latest build. Microsoft screwed up :)

There seems to be a problem with certificate.

Yes, somethings up with my setup. But what? For me it is repeatable after complete reinstall.

UAC prompt do say tinywall.exe / install. So something is disabling tw. I am thinking something not wanted....

I am on win10 x64 creator's update and tinywall 2.1.8. The network discovery keeps turning off after I set it to on as does the file and printer sharing. All the necessary services are running. I hear it's a firewall problem. Also, I can't even share a folder because I get an "incorrect function" error. Any tips?

Its annoying when browsers decide to suddenly deny website access due to a certificate authentication issue. Since there is no fix, its time to do a clean install of Windows and start over.

You can either do an override or regard the site in question as unsafe until the site's webmaster updates the certificate.

Even though you have the file & printer sharing ticked, it still has issues?

Yes, file and printer sharing is indeed checked in tinywall.

Sorry, I just realized that the "incorrect function" error only happens on my win7 32bit pc, but the things turning off happens on both PCs, both running tinywall.

right click on the system tray icon of tinywall and change mode to auto-learn..
now do your "things" and after you have done that stuff, right click on the tinywall system tray icon again, and change the mode
    back to normal..

Then right click again on the tray icon, and choose Manage.
There, click on Apply and the changes you did should be permanently stored.
I am on Windows 10 Professional 64-bit, and I have had no problems at all with Tinywall (other than sometimes forgetting to click on apply for the changes to be stored..)
