HMPA 592, very nice, still piqued by the Internet Explorer thing, but oh well. Looking forward to the new release.

Yeah, plat, what Internet Explorer thing? Geez, can't you post something properly?

I think she means she can't access her ISP email page from Internet Explorer unless she disables Lockdown Mitigations first. No biggie.

    See here: https://www.wilderssecurity.com/threads/process-mitigation-management-tool.393096/#post-2674413

Specifically, EMET components are to be incorporated into Windows Defender for the September revision of Creators Update/Redstone3. For those who chose to enable Defender for various reasons, how will this impact use of the Alert? Will there be a switch a la Malwarebytes and HMPA?

Edit: Maybe mitigations will be able to be disabled in the Defender interface. Too many people have other standalone anti-exploit software, it seems.

Yes, also wondering about this. And if one uses WD Limited Periodic Scanning, whether the AE component would be off by default. We'll have to wait and see.

I guess you mean the "Internet Explorer thing" in the following quote ("VBScript God Mode")... or is it a different issue?

Yes, mood, the same. That email page is built strangely; you have to disable uBlock Origin in latest Firefox to access it now. :cautious: EMET also detects. It's just a tiny, inconvenient glitch in the midst of lots of SurfRight activity, but at least we have some information now so imaginations don't run loose.

W7-x64, installed HitmanPro.alert 5.6.5 build 592 over build 588, NO issues what so ever!

Noticed that my Vista HP SP2 x64 system was using 95% of memory, and opened Task Manager:

    HMPA high RAM 2.jpg

    Build 588.

Should I kill the HMP.A processes and relaunch the program, or should I reboot the computer?

Did any receive feedback on their CTP findings? I send @erikloman some feedback but no response so far.

That IS impressive, but not unexpected, right? Even on an XP machine. Just would like to know how it was "allowed" to infect a given system, seeing as hospitals and patients were involved. Like: was it human error and/or because it was a vulnerable system? Insanely criminal regardless.

It looks like Foursys, who are a Sophos dealer, manage some UK hospitals security. I bet those hospitals are loving Intercept X right now. Well done SurfRight guys!

You could try installing HitmanPro separately.

you will receive a PM, i had one. If it is about compatibility issues with other security softwares , it won't be on the top of the list i guess, i believe they focus first on issues with the OS Itself.

I have closed the 3.7 CTP1 Private Beta participation for now. Over 50 Wilders members are participating which is beyond our expectation! We have have received tremendous amount of valuable feedback and are processing it. We plan on releasing CTP2 next week (also a Private Beta) with lots of fine tuning of the new mitigations. CTP2 will also have co-signed Microsoft drivers.

If your request to participate is still pending, you will receive a PM to join the CTP2 program instead.

    Stay tuned!
