This is causing concerns for security people. It means if you shut down your computer and a bad guy gets a hold of it, he or she may be able see what you were doing last.
A bit of a bummer that it won't be rolled out anytime soon, at least not for consumers. That's my biggest frustration that new computer and TV technologies (like OLED and 4K) take quite long to reach the market. Not trying to argue, but I don't understand what it matters. Since Microsoft seems to like to try to force "Fast Startup" on everyone hibernation is just about the only non powered on state on a PC (Windows 10 anyway). I wouldn't think this hardware would expose any more than is already there anyway, unless I am missing something.
