    Thanks WBD and Ron.

    WBD,
With all due respect, wouldn't it be better to leave that ESR out now? As Chazzy and Racerbob wrote at the DSLR thread.

Sure, I will leave ESR out from now on. No problem. But someone should probably let the developers of TB who all refer to it as "ESR" know that it seems to be causing confusion for some users.still.

    Hi WildByDesign,
Thank you! Yes, I agree with you about the confusion that might be caused by the TB developers. Sometimes I too am victim of the confusion, and then recall: oh wait, there is no difference anymore. As Racerbob wrote in that DSLR thread "the last version labeled as ESR was 17.0.9". And Chazzy wrote "Yes, they merged Release and ESR a very long time ago".
    Thanks again!

Mozilla Thunderbird Final 52.0.2 is now available through the internal updater

Tried updating but it said that my Lightning addon 4.7.8 was not compatible with TB 52.0.1 and would be disabled. As I cannot function without my calendar I have declined the upgrade for now (I'm on 45.8.0).

@Cache Thunderbird 52.x comes with Lightning 5.4.x pre-installed via the '\distribution\extensions' directory. This is all within the Thunderbird installer. It should, in theory, upgrade your current Lightning 4.7.8 to 5.4.x automatically. But I have seen a few cases in which this failed for reasons unknown. I had to manually copy the {e2fda1a4-762b-4020-b5ad-a41df1933103} directory over the previous with great success.

Did you mean Thunderbird version 52.0.1?
