Look, PIA is an inexpensive VPN, and they've proved in US court that they don't retain logs. But reviews at sites like https://thebestvpn.com/ are strictly advertorials. See https://thatoneprivacysite.net/
Got a citation for that? They claim "TheBestVPN.com is not affiliated with any of the VPN software listed on this website."
I've changed privacy settings in Windows 10. Pretty much turned everything off. And I use Norton WiFi Privacy.
I've used it on my iPhone 5s and now my laptop, I haven't encountered any slowdown. The speed is the same in my case.
If you don't mind me asking, how have you tested the difference? Is it just your browsing experience or have you been doing speed tests? Preferably not at speedtest.net = https://www.bestvpn.com/blog/10562/vpn-speed-test-overview/ If you test here do you see a noticeable difference between using the VPN and not? http://testmy.net/ and / or: https://speedof.me/ Thanks.
I was judging based on browsing experience. The score, when I tested on testmy.net, was significantly lower with the VPN.
Cool! Thanks for the info. Strangely, with PureVPN there is very little difference in speed at testmy.net to when not connected, except for the latency. That's using an Aussie VPN server though.
