I too am trying the portable version. Dang, it's fast. But, I have 3 questions. 1. I can't find a way to import Chrome bookmarks/favorites? The only option is importing IE favorites. (I know that I can import Chrome bookmarks into IE and then import the IE bookmarks into K-Meleon.) 2. I like having a bookmarks bar at the top of the screen; a place to put your 6-8 favorite sites that are only a click away. I can't find how to do that either. 3. I can't find a way to make Lastpass work in this browser. (This is a deal-breaker for me.)

Thanks. That does work :thumb:, but I'd prefer to have that setting ticked (for all browsers).

Da. But FF and KM both use Gecko, so much of FF is at least compatible with KM. KM is really a FF which works :isay: And they share a large amount of settings. Whatever screws over FF has the potential to screw over KM.

    While we're here, have a shufti at https://www.wilderssecurity.com/thr...nd-security-firms-stop-trashing-https.391887/. Thought-provoking.

Perhaps this is the best alternative for those on XP and Vista once Mozilla stops support for version 52 ESR.

Only flaw is K-Melon's lack of x64 support. C'mon, almost every one runs x64 now.

There is something wrong with the format of the link in #131
Clicking or rightclicking on the link doesn't work.

Fixed. Well, it worked when I tested it.:shifty: That will teach me not to use all the fancy fandangoes in the format bar!

    K-Meleon 76 Pro (RC)
    7zip and exe
    • KM 76 RC2 base.
    • New look!
    • New Pro-menu for added options.
    • New extensions out of the box: HTML5 management, censorship circumvention, saving of embedded videos, quick page translation with Google or Yandex - and more.

7 antivirus on Virustotal say it is not a safe exe. Do you know why? did anybody bother to check?

I just scanned k-melon.exe, which I extracted from the K-Meleon76 Pro RC.exe sfx archive, and it was not detected at VT. What file did you scan?

I downloaded the EXE from post 137 not the 7Zip file. I re-downloaded the EXE from the post above and submitted it a bit ago. This time 8 AV's flag it as bad. Most likely because AutoIt scripting was involved.

I had orignally tried to scan the file using Winja (a GUI for VT), but it said it was too big to scan, which is why I had just extracted and scanned the k-melon.exe. I just scanned the full download at VT and saw the multiple detections so went on to extract and scan every exe file included with Winja.

ultrasurf.exe is considered a PUP by some scanners. Some of the other exe files are detected due to false positives or due to being AutoIt (as you posted) or a tool from NirSoft.

    Ublock Origin or AdblockPlus.

You can find the ready package here. Just unpack it in KM folder (when KM is not running) - and you'll get the button on the toolbar.

Includes basic 'light' subscription - you can add more through AdBlock Plus GUI.

Nope. No Ublock can work with KM. Only ABP.
