Same on Windows. Seems that the page doesn't exist anymore: http://www.ghacks.net/2017/01/29/google-removes-plugin-controls-from-chrome/ http://techdows.com/2017/01/chrome-plugins-page-removed.html

Yes, they have finally removed the plugins-page. But Flash and the PDF reader can still be controlled via settings. Some comments about the disabled plugin-page:

I just clicked on about google chrome to install new version. After download i was prompted to restart chrome so i clicked ok. Chrome never restarted and got hung up so i had to force shutdown the computer. After boot i now have a reimageplus.com browser hijacker in chrome that i can't get rid of now. MBAM found 8 things that i took care of, but i still get redirected.
The restart after updating chrome never completed and i could never start chrome and get to my home page again. Then i had the reimageplus.com browser hijacker to deal with. I finally uninstalled chrome and installed it again with IE11. Chrome is as good as new now and have not seen the hijacker yet so things are looking good.

The next morning tried to boot up as usual but had some error that Windows could not fix. Had someone come over and told him to put a fully patched win 7 back on a new ssd this time instead of my old spinner. Will have it back this Friday.
Uh oh. "Fully patched" sounds ominous, like every MS update offered, which might be problematic... judging strictly by the Bork Tuesday thread. Good luck with the issues you are having, Dragon.
It was full patched he said so this should be interesting to see what goes on. My win 7 photo viewer is not working with the fully patched system. Also ie11 crashes all the time.

Do you have update Google services disabled? If you set it's startup type to Manual it could solve a problem.
