Wise Program Uninstaller has just added the feature of uninstalling some of the Universal Windows Apps.
A nice touch, especially for people, who prefer to avoid using CMD or do not have powershell, like me.

Is this deal better than the one from September's GOD? I mean especially the duration of the license.

Yeah I know. That's why I asked. If the license would be longer than yearly, then it would be worth.

I have noticed a nice feature added in Wise, it detects, when you uninstall something and starts to scan automatically.

I just installed Wise Program Uninstaller, and tested it against Revo and IObit.

At the moment, in my opinion Wise Program Uninstaller is a terrible product. It takes a long time to scan for leftovers, for the programs I uninstalled with it, it found no leftover files, missed registry leftovers that IObit and Revo found, and usually found registry keys not belonging to the program that was just uninstalled. Also, once it froze when scanning for leftovers. Due to the poor performance, and issues with false positives, I can't recommend it, and if you do use it pay close attention to what it wants to remove. I'm sure it will improve over time.

Revo and IObit usually do a comparable job of finding leftovers, but sometimes Revo will find more. IObit is a lot faster at scanning for leftovers than Revo is.

Of course, Comodo Programs Manager, is a much better option than Revo, IObit or Wise, and will find more leftovers as at actually monitors the install.

Interesting, I have avoided Revo and Geekuninstaller, because they claim, that their free version is inferior, but maybe I should give it another try. (I avoid any junk from iobit.)

The paid version of Revo has more features than free version. However since the free version now has 64 bit support, and it was last updated just a few months back, I presume it will do just as well at finding leftovers as the Pro version.

In my opinion, IObit Uninstaller is excellent. It is nearly as good at finding leftovers as Revo, but is much faster and can scan for leftovers after a reboot.

Sure but IObit isn't any worse than others. Yes, their products are bundled with either their own products or a third party ones. But it does others too. Look at Piriform (CCleaner), it is the highly respected and renowned company which compiles its products with Google things. As far as IObit Uninstaller capabilities are concerned, it is the best free uninstaller, IMO.

IObit Uninstaller currently only comes bundled with Advanced SystemCare, and its unchecked by default. So the only way you'll get extras installed is if you manually check the option to install ASC.

Another problem with Wise, I just openend Task Manager, and the monitor process was using 24% CPU time, even though I was not installing or uninstalling anything.

It looks, that Wise products do not like your computer at all. ;) After a short testing, I will stick with Wise, it finds the most for me compared to others and I need forced removal, 10 sucks too much.

I consider anything made by iobit as a junk or PUP at least, uninstaller included.

Just make sure you check the results and make sure any false positives are not selected.

Over the years, I have never had a single false positive, but it did miss a lot though, I go through the registry and folders manually sometimes to get rid of the rest.
