Windows Explorer can also verify digital signatures, particularly when you run MSI installer. But it is being replaced by smartscreen.

Well, Windows Defender in 8 and 10 do detect cracking tools, which are not hazardous to users.

    CAPTCHA's worked for me.

If there are lighthouses to find ... there are 3... and you cannot verify until you have found them all :D

I'm bloody tired of CAPTCHAs. Especially when the image server is lagging, so it takes a long time. No patience for that. So yeah, "takes more than 30 seconds" == "doesn't work".

Well, ignorance is (almost) bliss. You're addicted to W10's dreamy performance, you don't want pay $ to go back, you're not inclined to learn a new operating system. Just what do you DO about it? Microsoft is a hot mess, there, I feel better now. It's outrageous. I'll be looking for workarounds that MS hasn't divined yet.

    Edit: OK, there's one! lol!
