It seems that they only fixed the code that is shown in Task scheduler status. The problem is probably on AV side.

    Previous version:
Maybe schedules should be recreated after this update?

Yep I saw that after 1st post. Try recreating scheduled tasks. Maybe already created tasks don't switch to System Account but newly created do?

    I can try. :doubt:

Edit: I just created a new schedule and will post the results.

I know it says, "Note: Scheduled backups will not be visible in the Windows notification area when running as SYSTEM", but there is no CPU / RAM / disk activity suggesting a backup is running.

Yes I also saw that there is no notification when task is running. Sorry, I don't have any new ideas and I'm not using Avast to test it for myself.

It's OK, if I need to run backups manually so be it. I just wonder what I'm missing because this was supposed to have the above work-around, but then my machines behave weirdly at times.

Isn't that the truth. I have found I have to make a certain softwares that are permenant, and if anything conflicts with them they are gone. For me Macrium is one of those programs. It's all individual choises.

The "ofishul" upgrade date is TOMORROW, not today... they're just preparing for the onslaught.

It seems they have switched back on the Free version shortly thereafter. I've got all v7 builds (including Free) digitally signed on February 15th. I was only able to get a hold of the Free version for v7 with the use of Fiddler, but even that had changed about 15-20 minutes after. We will have to wait until the official release tomorrow, it seems. The paid/trial versions for v7 are still legit though.

If you guys keep publishing PRIVATE direct full download links, you will probably see Macrium taking an action to change them. That's not how they want users to access the software, they want you to only use the following link... and not until TOMORROW!

    https://updates.macrium.com/reflect/v7/ReflectDLFull.exe

    Be warned...

@TheRollbackFrog I respect that. I just went to check back on my post with the full download links but unfortunately would not allow for me to remove the links. My apologies.

You could install the trial version. The v6 keys do not work to install v7 otherwise. Personally I'm waiting for them to activate the upgrade pathways.

Scratch that. It became v.6 in the end when using the key.

Well, I guess tomorrow they will tell us how much they want for a V7 upgrade. I have a V6 4 pack, and even a 50% discount is a lot!

Well... tomorrow's here and I just received this from Macrium Support at 11:01am EST (4:01pm London time)...

"Macrium Reflect 7 hasn't been released yet - it should be available soon though..."

I guess "patience" is the rule of the day for those wishing to upgrade...

I wouldn't be surprised if the licensing system is what's holding the release. It's past 5pm in the UK.

I think it's much more than that. The build # on v7 has gone from 1951 to 1993 in the last 28-hours... I think there's something else awry. It's even changed since @Stode picked up his most recent version earlier today.

I would wait for the announcement "fer shur!"
