Well it's not exactly a free antivirus. I am currently using the trial version of Panda Internet Security, and more than likely will buy a license when the trial has ended. But, I don't feel there is any significant benefit to using Panda Internet Security vs the free version, other than not being nagged to upgrade to a paid version.

Until recently, I was using Tencent PC Manager.

Panda. I first used it when it came out around eight years ago. It's light, doesn't bug me, has few glitches and a good detection rate.

While I feel that Avast is an excellent antivirus, and on the whole is extremely light (and also I really have a lot of respect for Avast, and Vlk), I found that it was very slow at quarantining files, and also slowed down my system when quarantining files. Maybe it was just an issue my computer, but I figured I'd try some other antiviruses to see if I liked them, before trying to resolve my issue with Avast. So far, I'm really liking Panda.

Win Defender because built-in Win10 , and disabling it gives more cons than pros.

    If it wasn't built-in , i won't use any AV.

As for free then Comodo FW (actually not an AV).
Also I recently used Avast free and 360TS.

So after the trial period will the Panda IS work without lic, just nagging to upgrade?

As a Webroot user, I can't participate in the survey. However, if I had to use a free AV, I would go with Windows MSE backed up by VoodooShield.

I had to "Other" the poll since "Webroot" is not listed. Use it on All computers.:)

None, not for a long time .
May changes in the future as I recently traded in my lifetime license of Outpost Firewall Pro for a two year license of Kaspersky Internet Security.
Or not, fine with not having one ,been a long time sense having one .

No, it won't work after the trial had expired. There is a fair bit of nagging going on to try and get me to buy it, even though I've got over 20 days left to try it. At least if I do decide to keep using it and buy it, the nagging should stop. With the free version, I'm sure there would be no end to the nagging to try and get you to upgrade.

It is for me! I got a free copy of Webroot SecureAnywhere (AV Edition), as have many others. My bank and a number of other banks offer it free to their online banking customers. :thumb:
