Good to know. I really looked everywhere and finally paid by card. Maybe some geographic restrictions ?
I started to install Heimdal free version, but was taken aback by the splash screen that said something to the effect that this product stops 63% of malware attacks (I don't recall the precise wording, but this is close). So if this prevents 63% of attacks, then 37% of attacks are unprotected... yes? Maybe it's just me but that seems to offer little protection assurance. Am I misreading this? As it went the installation refused to validate my email address, so I was never able to try the free version at all.

@Peter2150 Are you still using Heimdal Pro? I struggled with it for quite a while and eventually removed it, but the issues may be gone now. Not sure if it's worth another license to try though.
I think that version is outdated. I think the version I tried last time was more recent than that. Although, I'm not sure, so that version might be correct. Let me know after you get home.
No I am not. I have a bit of time on my license, so I did install lit the other day, but took it off. With my current setup I just don't see the need.
I am using EIS SBIE, VS, HMPA, ERP, Appguard and FIDES. May sound like overkill, but I do have reasons. And it all does work together
Heimdals traffic filtering is it similar to something like Ublock Origin filters or a different kind anti-malware altogether?
Got a pop-up from Heimdal Pro today saying my subscription expires in 21 days, and would I like more info by clicking on the link in the pop-up. After clicking on it, this is where I ended up:
Good question. This page might help, although exactly how Heimdal Pro works has always been fuzzy in my mind. (In contrast, I have a good-enough-for-me idea of how AV like Avast or Norton and anti-exploit software like MBAE or HMP.A works.) Unfortunately, the Heimdal folks seem to have lost interest in communicating via this forum, so the linked page may be the best explanation we'll get.
