Yes, I noticed that on Chromium. For me it happens only sometimes and refresh usually sorts things up.

As I understand Firefox doesn't need it.

2 problems with this site: http://www.lequipe.fr/Football/Diaporama/Ces-rares-minots-qui-ont-eu-leur-chance/5916
Slide show is broken on this site if you use uBlock experimental filters: ||googletagservices.com/tag/js/gpt.js$script,redirect=googletagservices.com/gpt.js,important
Without this filter, Googletagservices launches requests to doubleclick.net which are needed (especially the first script) to have a working slide show. Being dependent of an ad script for a working site is such lame. I suppose it's the future of ad.

@TheWindBringeth, Thanks for the info. So it does seem to be crapware after all. Too bad :(

Is the slideshow supposed to be automatic? I use uBlockO + uMatrix combo, with the recommended filters disabled in ublockO for combatibility with uMatrix and I'm able to manually scroll through the slides, with Googletagservices and Doubleclick fully blocked.

More bad news is that - This guy@gihub wanted to share some of his findings privately to Gorhill. However, unfortunately, he inadvertently gave it to the wrong people - https://github.com/uBlockOrigin/uAssets/issues/227#issuecomment-268579089
This behavior (Instart guyz) is not at all acceptable..

Are you sure you're able to come back to the previous image ? In general, you can go to the next image, but you can't go to the previous, and the text below the image is never updated to match the next image.
Sorry I should have given this information in my previous post.

@harsha_mic: The guy sending the mail at the wrong RG is really a noob tbh. Funny tho

Okay I hadn't checked that thoroughly at first but you're right, I can't scroll backwards unless I click one of the small preview images below. Obviously that's not ideal, but it's a "roundabout" way of going backwards.

And search results suggest that on Dec 14, 2016 Instart Logic formally announced an ad blocker circumvention solution called "Ad Integrity" is now part of their application delivery service.

    http://www.computerworld.com/articl...facebooks-ad-blocker-blocker-to-everyone.html
Edit: Did you continue to use the VancouverSun.com site? Have you checked your storage to determine if that left behind any tracking "cookies" that you would want to get rid of?

I cleared all cookies and history but it didn't help. The site still loads the goo crap. I hardly ever visit the site anymore.

I'm not sure we were on the same page there. So to clarify: I wasn't asking because I thought eliminating cookies would eliminate all the g00 crap. I was asking because one of the screencaps in the uBlock issues thread showed dozens of different advertising/tracking domain specific cookies having been set for .g00.www.boston.com. Cookies which could be sent during a future visit. Including, perhaps, even in a lone HTTP request that is still fired when Javascript is disabled and "normal" g00 behavior appears broken.

I'm not sure you would have similar cookies as a result of your visit(s) to VancouverSun.com, but if you do I think you'd want to get rid of them (and take steps to assure they aren't set again in the future).

Edit: I just noticed your earlier cap showed 13 cookies for g00.vancouversun.com and in the green.

Okay, I misunderstood your question about the cookies. Not long after that earlier cap I block all cookies in uMatrix and only allow what's needed. I've added the extra companion for uBlock and now it blocks the g00 crud. Before that, I disabled scripts, with Windows_Security's help, in uMatrix for g00 and that also worked

  20. Out of curiosity I checked vancouversun and nasdaq on my wife laptop which only has Avast Online Security extension, to my surprise the trackers were all locked :thumb:

Is there a way to block the new pop-up on LinkedIn that forces you to login?

    https://nl.linkedin.com/in/houda-jihad-bouyafa-325622b5

  22. That only happens when you have logged-in or LinkedIn thinks someone with same browser-fingerprint has logged in. It has a time semaphore so after an hour or so you will be able to see this profile without logging in.

BTW I would not use someone's real linkedinprofile as a example

No, I believe this is incorrect. It happens with every profile, you can not see any info anymore if not logged in. And I don't see a problem with posting a real profile? She was also on TV a couple of weeks ago, BTW.

Wait a minute, I think you may be right, after clearing cookies in FF, it's gone? No I was right, it's back again after clicking on another profile, but it only happens in Firefox, no such problem in Opera 12.

  24. Have you tried logging in to LinkedIn on Opera?

No not yet. Can you perhaps check it out? So if you login and logout on Chrome and Firefox, you should still be able to browse profiles without any popup. I really don't know what's going on, on Vivaldi I haven't got this problem, but on Chrome I do see the popup, very weird.
