Yes. I think it's the anti-exploit (I checked the protected application list and it was empty). Quiting the program and running it again seems to fix it.

  2. @rpsgc thx, but that does not solve it

Stupid question but have you clicked on "Turn On" before exiting the program?

  4. There is nothing to turn on, because all protections are enabled.

I'm having the same problem....Annoying glitch, all the protections are active but this warning appears on every boot.

    Windows 7 Ultimate x32

  6. Annoying message, because it remains visible, does not disappear after a few seconds (even when set notifications off).

    Hello,
I am extremely disappointed with this final release. It does not work on my PC and I cannot get any help:(
I think this version is not much than a beta and is only a lure for consumers and that allows Malwarebytes team to experiment their product with a lot of users and collect the issues:cool:
    Thanks Malwarebytes:thumb:
After this trickery I decided to go elsewhere.:D

The "checking update" bug still remains on my machine, reinstall/close/delete config is just a temporary solution.

IMO this final release was too rushed, it needs more polishing.

Could you add an option to work only on execution so the av will consume less resources? It will be perfect if you are running it alongside any other av

I would rather delete Malwarebytes than be forced to upgrade to problems.

This company has a history of pushing out "new" versions of MBAM still full of problems, I can only guess the software developers are pressured by the sales dept?

Yes, I think this happens sometimes after updates, web protection will turn off and then turn on right away. Notification will still be there.

OK, I now understand the idea behind it, but honestly I would still simply name it MBAM, sounds and looks more catchy. To me it's not the best decision especially now that MBAM is integrated with anti-ransom and anti-exploit features. Zemana Anti-Logger also is more catchy than simply "Zemana", know what I mean? But it's up to you.

I do like MBAM, I don't like the current faults in this release and have every confidence they will be corrected, I still think they have often moved from beta to stable release to quickly....!

And users pointing out existing faults are far more useful than suggesting people should "move on!" perhaps, to another product.

    My thoughts as well.
I don't understand why they released the last beta as the official version with all the bugs left in.
Same thing happened when they went with the 2.x release.
I see no reason for that decision.

I posted this in the Malwarebytes Forum early this morning.

They say they are aware of it and are working on the problem.

    Fingers crossed.

I agree but if a poster is going to complain multiple times and threaten to move to another sw clearly they don't care for the product, time to move on then.

    But whatever back on topic!!

  21. Yeah they will fix it, no worries

The update "Checking..." issue seems to be resolved on my machines.

To get the newer Component Package back (1.0.39) after deleting that file I had to Quit MB and delete the new file, then restore the old file. @RubbeR DuckY told me the issue was also resolved by a complete uninstall / reinstall.
