I can get to that one. I actually just reinstalled Norton today after having trouble updating Microsoft Office with another product installed. I'm not sure that I want to opt into this yet. I'll watch it a bit first.

 

Just received v22.8.1.14. No info yet.

Hey deugniet, you beat me to posting about the update. I was notified and ran Live Update straight away, restarted and came here to post and you already had.

Interesting: Removed Soft-block on Malwarebytes & Hitman Pro.

 

Malwarebytes is claiming version 3 will be a full AV replacement, so they'd probably rather run beside it than get dumped for it.

any idea if that NSG module will be available for other languages soon besides english?

 

The Norton EAP (Early Adopter Program) is now open to all English speaking customers (with English OS) if anyone is interested.

 

Just installed Norton Security, damn, i am surprised how well it perfoms on my system.

 

I love how light it is, the only thing that stops me from using it is that I've suggested to them many times to give us a custom installer to install it without the bloatware. ie. system optimization, defragmenter, etc. I have an SSD and I don't want it to defragment my SSD

Also, I hate the pestering to install the Norton Toolbar despite me clicking do not show again, and I don't like the fact that it shows me features that are not relevant to my subscription in the GUI like the online backup

 

I agree with Papursan. I can get Norton for free from my ISP, so I tried it again this week. I would like it if it were not for all the "extras" they pack in. I wish there was a "minimal install option" with out all the optimizers, toolbars, etc... I don't like antivirus programs that try to do too much.
