I've just found another issue. I uninstalled ZAM on a computer and it left behind two drivers in C:\Windows\System32\Drivers.

That is not possible with portable version.
So in portable, no more deep scan (yes, I know that I can use the drag & drop scan instead).

You can find the Quick - Full scan in every AV and no one relies in Quick scan only.
Even your competitor has Quick - Default scan. ;)
If I can use my AV, why to buy ZAM then?

Zemana you have to keep your promises:
"The issue will be fixed with a new update today."
    New update not released yet..............

They should at least keep it in Advanced settings if 'dumbing down' is the default, for those who want more control, not less..
On the surface this is a simplification, but in reality it is now a two-step process (observe block, unquarantine), instead of a one-step process (allow) to ignore something.

This is retarded I use deep scan all the time why possibly would they want to remove it, why have ZAL on your computer just to use your anti-virus for deep scsns, seriously?

Removing Deep Scan option, removing "Ask user" option... Zemana is going full steam ahead on the dumbification path.

That'll drive power users away. Who do they think is giving them free publicity?

not a big deal at al removing deepscan. u can simply rightclick on ur c/d or whatever and scan it with zemana. so zemana just scanns all in it.

    where is the deepscan o_O
Why are you removing the good parts of the program?

Deep scan option isn't needed. Just drag any folder or drive and you will have deep scan of it. This was an redundant option, because it is basically duplicated, you already have that option by doing what I said.

I can scan right click to folders .I know. but It is unnecessary to remove the deep scan

I have emailed them from the support section on their website asking for Version emana AntiMalware 2.50.2.133 which is the last version with ignore still available.
I suggest people on here do the same

IMO, removing *Smart/Deep* and *Ignore* options makes ZAM look LESS "user friendly" & LESS "powerful". To wit, it is BAD merchandising.

I am a paying user (NOT free) as is my son. If this dumbing-down of ZAM continues, we will not renew. PLEASE stop fixing things that aren't broken. I loved ZAM the way it was before 2.60.2.1 came along.

The decision has already been done, and won't be reverted.
From there point of view, that ZAM is for average users, it's a consequent move, to make things as easy as it can be.

Me myself never started a deep-scan it the first place, only if serious infection was found I let the deep-scan run,
but ZAM was smart enough, to do this on it's own.

Zemana, can you please remove the Android button (that opens the Android ad) from the main screen?

IMHO licensed users should not be bothered with ads.

    @TwinHeadedEagle ,
unchecking the box in the general UI does not removed the Android icon, but further promotions. Ok.

But I don't care about that tiny Android icon, it's really not a big deal.
Perhaps a Tux would make an nice company...:)

I'm purposely still running the previous Premium Version 2.50.2.133 (paying customer) and I notice that the 'Show messages about Zemana promotions' box doesn't exist in this version 2.50.2.133. I agree with the others that this should not be appearing in the paid versions. This latest 'promotions' box in addition to losing Deep scan and also losing the 'ask me what to do' option which I want to continue using makes it so there is absolutely no reason for me to update to a newer less functional version.
It therefore follows that if ZAM has moved away from what I originally liked and paid for and there is no reason to update to a newer version - then there is NO REASON to renew my subscription !

A shame such a good product is going in this direction.

Wooww...I cannot believe how people easily get angry.. wooww..
Zemana is the great software overall..and the Android icon just shows you people "Heyy! We can also protect your mobile device"..Thats it.
It is not an advertisement from 3rd parties. It won't popup to you or won't nagging you..Zemana is not Avast.

About removing the "Deep Scan" option is not a big deal. They are 'merged'..I understood from 'merged' the scan mechanism is better and combined both.

But I just want "Ask to user" option back!

They (Zemana Devs) should listen to their customers... I recommend Zemana to all my friends, family and customers (I fix computers occasionally) so if the wilders members/loyal customers make suggestions they should listen!

And that's the reason why most of the average users use Zemana. Because their friends/family/techies recommend it to them. So why are Zemana catering to the people that don't really care about their products vs the people that recommend them?
