To use all HMP.A's features, you need to purchase it.
But you can use its free features, which I'm not sure which, after the trial period ends. :)

IDK if related but when I'm connected to a brokerage server, when I manually stop the HMP.A service, I get a pop-up message from the brokerage software that the connection to the server has been broken. Every time. HMP.A service appears to be disrupting this secure channel connection.

    Win8.1-64

Could be related or perhaps an incompatibly between HMP.A and your brokerage software. Have you tried adding an exclusion for it?

Thanks. Did that. Had no effect. Broke connection when service stopped. Had to login again to re-establish.

FWIW, ran Process Hacker and don't see any programs linked to the broker executable.

HMPA does not filter SSL traffic. But the way TDI / WFP filters work is that when you stop our service, the connections get disconnected.

Have you tried build 570 with Network Lockdown disabled?

Installed 570 last night. Just a few minutes ago I walked in to find the BSOD. Just finished rebooting and came here to post about it. Don't know if it's related to 570 or not. If it does it again I'll go back to 567 and see if that helps.

Yes. Disabled Lockdown (570). Fresh reboot. Connect via broker program. Stopped service. Connection lost. Login required to reestablish broker connection.

Stopping the service will disconnect. I was wondering if SSL traffic is working properly on your computer when Network Lockdown is disabled?

It seems to be. I'm not seeing security notices or problems connecting to secure sites.

Mine is still build 562, but checking update says No Update Available.:doubt:
That is what I also wanted to hear, thanks for clarification.
Just curious, do you have a plan to enable Return Flaw Guard for future version of HMPA? That will further differentiate HMPA from competitor, don't it?
Also I found while HMPA has CFG enabled, HMP not. is there a reason for this? Ofc I understand HMP is differnt from traditional AV scanner so has relatively limited attack surface.

With build 570 I can finally reboot my system without crashes. However hmpa seems to have serious impacts on Visual Studio 2015, but i've to look at this even closer.

    edit:
To be a bit more specific. While debugging a asp.net application, VS seems to create several similar debug-processes. This leads to a unresponsive VS and to a general processor utilization of 100%. HMPA itself does not show any messages. After an uninstall of HMPA the issue has gone.

Enterprise users should already be using Sophos Intercept X. :)

I wouldn't have thought the use of HMP.A on a developers machine would be stable. I'd be developing using a VM if possible.
