I've not seen that. My problem seems to be with downloads. Some "fail" and others leave me with corrupted zips and executables. Occasionally (maybe 1 out of 5) a download completes as it should,

Hello folks, is there a newer-than-567 beta?

Build 569, but there is no "official announcement" yet.

We are going to release exactly this build tomorrow as a pre-release.

It is Windows Anniversary compatible and if you have some networking issues (some people posted issues with VPN tools), disabling the Network Lockdown might prove useful in 569.

I had to uninstall HMP due to it BSOD'ing my pc when using powershell to create a tiered storage array. I then re-installed with the latest version , and since then I cannot shutdown my PC. When I try to shut it down in Windows, the PC acts like it is going to power off, but then the fans spin up and it just restarts. If I uninstall HMPA, everything works fine, the PC powers off normally.

I'm at a loss here as to what is causing this. I do not recall the version that I was on before doing the reinstall and installing the latest. Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks

I see the border, but indicator shows plain text input, i.e. what I typed.

Are you using the Windows 10 preview builds, as it only started for me from 14951 onwards? 14931 and earlier were fine.

Question on keystroke encryption as pertaining to password managers. I.e. lastpass - when the login/password data is inserted into a web logon page is that encrypted by HPA or does it even need to be?

No, I use Win 10 stable. I just worried if HMPA interfere w/ SSL in any way, as security software interfere w/ SSL is nearly always not good.

Any news regarding 3DMark's Java compatibility issue (3DMark will crash at launch) and Uplay's launching issue if HitmanPro.ALERT is running in the background?

From what I observe I'd say no. When LastPass inserts login credentials on a web page there is no activity in the HMPA keystroke encryption indicator; that makes sense since the data is not being inserted via keystrokes.

Am I correct in assuming that the crypto prevent protects all internal drives on the system??

    Hi Peter,

You mean CryptoGuard as "CryptoPrevent" is another security vendor's product.

I wasn't sure which drives were protected so I searched the thread back to 2013 and found this:

HMPA does not filter any SSL traffic. Though our filtering might cause problems with third party software that do SSL filtering. It is related to their TDI or WFP implementation and not related to any network protocol.

With regard to 3DMark you may want to try this build as a few changes to Java specific mitigations have been made.
With regard to Uplay, we have not made specific changes to address this issue. Though you can try if it is working now. If not, let me know.
