Sorry for being lazy, but do you have links on good reads of AVAST and AVG Machine Learning features?

    Thx Kees

Norman was essentially a dead product even before AVG bought the company. The company laid off all the programmers years ago. The product uses the BD engine so it does detect viruses, but otherwise, it's very obsolete and lacks any kind of development.

Norman users will be migrated to Avast or AVG (to their paid versions).

    Thanks

    No. :)

Well, as I said, the Norman products run the BitDefender engine and so of course, yes the definitions are being updated.
Or do you mean the really old Norman products before they added the BD engine? That I don't know, frankly...

Vlk you need to improve your vlab's response time to submitted samples. I cannot recommend Avast nor AVG now.

I got undetected samples from a laptop running Avast. I submitted using AVG's sample form since Avast wants me to register to submit a ticket. Well months after, they're still undetected. I submitted feedback to AVG and Support intervened. Well, weeks after and still no change lol. They even bothered to send a survey in Czech but no follow up on submission.

Recent changes on how Avira handles submitted samples also make me upset. The 3 As are not what they used to be.
