Thanks for the link. I just added the disable tracking list.

I've only been using an Adblock Plus based ad blocker for two weeks. It blocks many more ads than my browser's (360 Extreme Explorer) built in ad blocker.

I like the youtube ones. I'm already blocking tracking and ads with Fanboy's Ultimate List - https://www.fanboy.co.nz/filters.html - plus a few others. I've just added the Other Annoyances list here which so far seem to do an OK job of blocking most of the video annotations, without having to change that setting for every video.

    Hi mantra,

I'm not sure if you are aware but AdBlock and AdBlock Plus are two different extensions.

As to the difference with AdGuard, uBlock O and ABP, you would have to ask someone who has used them. I started with ABP and I'm comfortable with it, but to each their own.

    Cheers.

The three top filters to block Adware, Malware Domains and Scam sites are pretty good.

There is nothing what Adguard and uB0 can't do compared to ABP. They both fully support the Adblock Plus filter syntax (and, hence, its filterlists). On the contray, both Aguard and uBlock0 have an extended filter syntax (not supported by ABP) and can therefore block more. Moreover, uB0 also supports hosts files and has Dynamic Filtering - it's certainly the most powerful blocker available.

ABP is garbage, it lets every pop under/redirect or whatever you call it that seems to be set on a lot of sites albeit alot of obscure ones. For an example look at yify.tv and click the page once or twice

I don't use any script blockers auto and forgot that many here do. Right now I prefer Ublock O or adguard and when I run Palemoon it has excellent plugins for popups/other when I run stuff.

ABP is a good tool, but I replaced it with uBlock which offers a bit more.
