I am tired of using 2 or 3 different programs to edit a screenshot, so I am in need of a portable tool that can blur areas of a screenshot, has different pointers/arrows, can highlight areas, can switch to different windows to capture and is very light on resources. I'm sure I would like more features but I can't think of anymore off the top of my head.
I've been using Faststone FSCapture for years . It should fit all the requirements you describe and then some .
Greenshot. Loaded. Free. Portable version, too. http://getgreenshot.org/ https://bitbucket.org/greenshot/greenshot/downloads
+1. I use a free portable version 5.3 which can still be found, though I would happily fork out for the lifetime license. Haven't tried it, but also saw a recommendation for free CloudShot: http://cloudshot.com/ which has a portable version also.
hi i like ShareX , it's open source portable and you can upload in many image hosts and record video with great quality without eating cpu or Snipaste free & portable cheers
I would have said exactly the same , until I read this thread . ... now that looks like a real winner . I'd like to read some feedback from any users here before I test it ; it's lazy , I know
Nothing beats ShareX imo. They need to clean up with UI/UX to be less daunting to newcomers but it has every editing tool & deployment option one could hope for. Sometimes I just want to upload the image to imgur. Sometimes my dropbox or onedrive, sometimes pushbullet to my phone. The best.
