    Just got hit with this message...

    New ip addresses for dns servers

    End of June 2015 the Swiss Privacy Foundation is closing down their dns servers (77.109.138.45 und 77.109.139.29).

    You see this page because your System or your Network uses these DNS servers. You need to change this setting or ask your network administrator.

    Our friends at xiala.net provide alternative servers.

    Their dns resolvers check DNSSEC signatures. No logs are being kept as well as no block lists are in place. The servers could be reached via IPv6, too.

    IPv4
    77.109.148.136
    77.109.148.137

    IPv6
    2001:1620:2078:136::
    2001:1620:2078:137::

    If you're using VPN services, using third-party DNS servers for your direct uplink is prudent, just in case there's a DNS leak.

    @Gandalf_The_Grey

    Thanks...Ok, I guess I will continue as is...I have my security in place, for protection, I hope.

    @mirimir

    I don't use a VPN, usually. I will keep it in mind though.

    Does xiala.net provide a privacy policy in English?

    My browser doesn't allow me to enter xiala.net website, connection is insecure. Any info about this? Also, is there any good alternative?!

    It looks like their certificate has expired. It's strange that they didn't take care of it...
