when SAP whitelists a file, how does it identify the file? By hash?

Under "Info & Licenses" > "Account", is it normal behavior for the program to keep forgetting my login / logging me out?

For the script rules, it should be the same as powershell.
For command line, we have not investigated further, but from my understanding is the range of parameters that it supports is much lesser compare to powershell. Most of attacks are using powershell as the gateway rather than powershell_ise.
May be any Wilders member that has more experience in powershell_ise can share more about their experience.

Yes, this is a normal behavior. Remember login only supported in the browser view (you may click on "View via browser", as a shortcut to access your web browser).

It is mainly by hash and certificates. For certificates, it is actually optional. User can adjust the settings for the trust by digital signatures.

Telling SAP to ignore false-positives lists the device as "Infected". What can I do about it?

You can click on ignore permanently so that you will no longer get prompted for those false-positive files.

I should have clarified. I mean it says the computer is infected in the "My Devices" section of the Account Portal. Is there any way to clear the infection list?

The list at the server will also be cleared when you select all and click on Ignore Permanently from the client software.
Currently there is a bug in version 4.3.1 that caused the dialog crash when you click on Ignore Permanently. Please install the following for the quick fixed: https://secureaplus.secureage.com/download/FixedUAVScanResult_v4.3.1.4.exe

Thank you for informing us. We have marked it as False Positive.

It still says "Infected" in the Account Portal but at least it doesn't crash now. I'll just have to ignore that.

    Thanks anyway.

my portal thinks I have two computers, one infected, and one not...

I like this, it is a good, balanced approach.
NoVirusThanks ERP is too strict, and Voodooshield is too lenient.

I have been an original beta tester of the appliction this since this thread started, and I have installed this, now, on my Surface Book. I like this program.

Just tried this for the third time. Also recent re-tried VS and Crystal this past week. These type of programs still yield too many false postives. I got a popup regarding 6 files this morning, some which were from well known companies like AMD.

It's an application whitelisting software... of course it's going to show warnings all the time.

I understand that, but if I have to identify what is safe/harmful on my own, why install a program? lol And why are common companies programs not whitelisted yet?

I guess these type of programs just are not my cup of tea.

That's my reasoning. What's good, doesn't ask me, and is free? Windows Defender.:thumb:
