I tried AntiVirus Plus 14 two years ago and it was very light, but back then detection rates were no so good. I believe that detection rates are still not too good.

just wondering cause I saw a new malware on malwaretips that only two caught as listed on virus total and this was one of them.
I wouldn't pay much attention to a single instance. It's really only worth noting if you see it happening often that K7 is detecting threats (and you are sure they are not false positives) that others miss.
yup I am sure it was not a false positive. I did take a look at it and there are a lot of Asian tabs besides just the home gui tab.
