Nice to see you can download this one directly instead of downloading .106 and updating.

    ineeed.

I have a problem though, I use a VPN called vpn.ac and if I use NOD32, I get frequent disconnections but without NOD32 it's stable.

I submitted a bug report last week but it takes ages for them to reply

    I would say no.

I think they've released the product line up so release should be soon.

No stable download links are available.

Was going to say, wow it is dropping fast if that was the case. If it's close then wow as well, still some bugs in it as far as I'm concerned.

Oh, I think this the first time I read a security software, besides Microsoft's own Windows Defender, will use AMSI

"Script-Based Attacks Protection consists of protection against javascript in web browsers and Antimalware Scan Interface (AMSI) protection against scripts in Powershell."

VPN random disconnection with NOD32 solved.

    Problem:

    Solution:

No more disconnections now, the problem was I was adding VPN.AC.exe to the file exclusions initially and not the Web and Mail exclusions.

First of all, please report the issue in our official forum at https://forum.eset.com. It'd be interesting to know if you had a previous version of ESET installed and the issue hadn't occurred until installing v10 beta. If you didn't have a chance to test it with an older version, it could be that some Windows Filtering Platform-related hotfix is not installed. I remember that in the past a particular WFP hotfix addressed an issue with corruption of files received via http(s).

This problem was with the Beta and the latest v9 version as well.

All Windows updates are installed, running Windows 10 Build 10586.494 with Windows Defender completely disabled.

Ever since I added this Web exception, I didn't get a single disconnect.

Can you guys place any screen-shots of the GUI? I mean, it has now been 3 months, when is this going to be released?

If you've seen 9 you've mostly seen 10. Not a lot of difference.

installed this on my win10 testing box.

The initial scan took absolutely what seemed like forever.

90 mins to scan a fairly clean box, the OS is on a SSD. I also observed it would stick for a long time on many executables, and that nod32 scanning engine is still limited to only using one cpu core.

The gui moans if disabling even a minor feature like phishing protection, I think an option to disable warnings for specific modules like avast has is a good idea.

Otherwise not much else to report yet, as not long after the scan completed and after I went through the settings I went to sleep.

I reported this to support in the early betas telling them that the initial scan takes forever compared to v9 and they replied that's normal which seemed odd to me.

I know results may vary but for me it takes forever with 9 or 10. I haven't noticed one being any faster than the other, at least on the scan. My machine seems to run faster with 10 overall.
