We don't know...they are not being tested on AVC.... :)
On latest AV-Test they got 6.0/6.0 for Protection, 4.0/6.0 for Performance and 5.5/6.0 for Usability.

I wonder what the reason is for them not being included in the tests.

Poor if you call 99.9% to 100% detection poor.

I also would like to see Panda testes at av-comparatives. I suspect it may have fp's or something.

I wonder if it's to do with it being x86. Or Panda Security SL refused to pay the protection money lol.

On a positive note, I have lately found Panda Free to be lighter in resources than in the past and it seems to detect stuff better and more accurately than 360 Total Security which was good but gave tons of fp's. All in all, I currently like Panda.

And how much impact on startup time? I am thinking about replacing Avira free with it in a PC with Intel Pentium processor and 4 GB RAM, Windows 10.

I don't seem to notice an impact on startup time with the latest version, unlike some previous versions.

You're welcome. I also notice that the latest version goes not give me a lot of cpu spikes like older versions did. :)

Accounts for Panda free? What's for?

I've never created them at all. I even don't remember they require an account at all.

    It's not Avast!

Seeing the same. I usually don't get exited about panda updates and drag my feet because their installation process can be ... buggy. But I'm seeing some clear performance improvement since the update. Long over due.
