Sorry, but can someone please point me to the latest Beta / Release version.

I am still running 19042014 and I am running into some issues which are maybe solved by latest Beta ?

Also after installing, IIRC: File>Settings untick 'Notify me when a new version is available', else you'll be prompted for the latest stable ...

Wow! No developments in Over a year o_O
Seems it can now be classed as abandonware.
Is Andreas still working for NVT does anyone know, anyone keep in touch with him ?

Well, abandonware like AppLocker or SRP. Still working great!

For a pure anti executable, just how much development do you need. Look at Faronics. Big company doing a lot of stuff but not much change to their Anti Executable product. It still does it's job perfectly for me, and it functions well on windows 10.

peter are you using both Faronics Anti Executable and appguard together?

  8. No Peter is making a point that a well desgined anti-executable (Faronics defined the AE product category) does not need much change over the years.

I agree chaps completely it's a great piece of software, but the V3.1 was never finalised.
So i assume no one knows if Andreas is still around, as you know he was incredibly active here but suddenly nothing ?

I hope Andreas is healthy & rolling in money. He earned a good rest & the monetary fruit of his talents & efforts.

  12. I only read rumors, when they are true, something good will happen, otherwise there is VS with release 3 in Beta. Played with VS, it is also a very good product.

I use ERP with AppGuard, and I have no problems at all out of ERP other than the tray icon hiding itself once in a while. I think it works amazing for what it was designed to do. If there are any users that are experiencing any serious bugs then I do feel for those users though.

I don't. Figure something has to be able to run before it can turn off ERP.

I'm sorry I'm rather ignorant in this sphere, but aren't there some exploits which can hijack and control an already running process without starting a new one?

I was asking C_E #5239,...."Enable self defense" helps my ERP tray icon from hiding.

The task bar icon randomly disappearing is a bug on W10; it has happened randomly with other security softs I use. The tray notifications area is still buggy on W10. However, I think there is something about ERP that contributes to it more so than other softs.

NVT ERP is not being actively developed at this time.

What you are experiencing could be related to your system screen resolution or graphics.

Thanks, I only have Zoom set at 150% (getting a bit old :thumbd:) but a bit disappointing that he didn't take screen zoom factors in consideration while programming.

I know it's not being developed anymore. It's a shame but as (already) said not much wrong with it.
