    http://winaero.com/blog/stop-windows-10-spying-on-you-using-just-windows-firewall/

Do any of you use this technique? His CMD file worked perfect to create the outbound rules for Windows Firewall.

Towards end of article it says to go to services and disable
    Diagnostics Tracking Service
    dmwappushsvc

On my Windows 10 home machine, I do not see the Diagnostic tracking service. Could it be named something else?

I then went into my privacy settings and changed from default FULL to Basic.

ScreenHunter_18 Jun. 21 11.05.jpg just ckeck the box for insider builds and now I see when you do that, your data sharing option changes to full, even after you have set it to basic as I did in the past.

You are willingly participating in a beta program, it is to be expected that they force usage data.

It has been hidden from services, because people started to disable it for some strange reason. :D

Run CMD as admin and enter:
    sc config DiagTrack start= disabled
    sc config dmwappushservice start= disabled

When new version is installed, it resets previous settings. You need to keep changing it regularly, create a script to run at startup or something like that.

Try this. Run CMD as admin and enter:
    reg add "HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Siuf\Rules" /v "NumberOfSIUFInPeriod" /t REG_DWORD /d "0" /f
    reg add "HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\DataCollection" /v "AllowTelemetry" /t REG_DWORD /d "0" /f
    reg add "HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WINEVT\Channels\Microsoft-Windows-Application-Experience/Program-Telemetry" /v "Enabled" /t REG_DWORD /d "0" /f
    reg add "HKLM\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\DataCollection" /v "AllowTelemetry" /t REG_DWORD /d "0" /f

A few more entries to disable some tasks as well:
    reg add "HKLM\Software\Policies\Microsoft\SQMClient\Windows" /v "CEIPEnable" /t REG_DWORD /d "0" /f
    reg add "HKLM\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\AppCompat" /v "AITEnable" /t REG_DWORD /d "0" /f
    schtasks /Change /TN "Microsoft\Windows\Customer Experience Improvement Program\Consolidator" /Disable
    schtasks /Change /TN "Microsoft\Windows\Customer Experience Improvement Program\KernelCeipTask" /Disable
    schtasks /Change /TN "Microsoft\Windows\Customer Experience Improvement Program\UsbCeip" /Disable
    schtasks /Change /TN "Microsoft\Windows\DiskDiagnostic\Microsoft-Windows-DiskDiagnosticDataCollector" /Disable
    schtasks /Change /TN "Microsoft\Windows\Feedback\Siuf\DmClient" /Disable
    schtasks /Change /TN "Microsoft\Windows\PI\Sqm-Tasks" /Disable

You should probably check those: http://www.ghacks.net/2015/08/14/comparison-of-windows-10-privacy-tools

But as mentioned before, if you are using Insider, it is expected to share data to provide MS with problems, so they can fix it.

Please remain calm, take deep breaths, empty your mind and ask yourself - "what is beta testing ?" :D

If testing non-stable builds, finding bugs, reporting bugs, documenting bugs with logs, supplying development teams with telemetry on code stability makes you worried, then the Insider builds are not for you.

I just thought I would enable insider builds for the heck of it. I always that unticked before. think I will just go back to not participating.
I already have a batch file from the page I posted but don't think I can run it on startup. appguard will block the cmd. the batch file I am using uses windows firewall.

here is the long list from the page I posted but a few more doesn't hurt at all :ninja:
