A patch has been issued for Windows versions other than Windows XP; if anyone is still using XP, I agree it would be prudent to disable NetBIOS.

following the instructions, i tried disabling on 2 winxp machines. i tick the disable netbios, etc, then click ok and close out. when i go back to check within minutes of closing out, the tick is set back to default. i havn't rebooted because the tick mark won't stay on disable. what am i doing wrong? thanks
