    Hey all,
I am having some problems with EMET with the default settings on windows 10 pro.

word 2016 is closed due to EAF mitigation and so is internet explorer and powerpoint.. I do not use internet explorer normally and only tried it due to a particular website yesterday but turns out the issues with the website and not the browsers.

you would think that Microsoft would test against their own applications

i haven't experienced any issues with third party apps yet which is kinda ironic

Are you running HitmanPro.Alert or Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit? These two products are not compatible with EMET 5.5.

Appears there are issues with EMET 5.5, Win 10, and MS Office apps. Here's one I found:

Installed on Windows 10. Found that I had to turn off the standard SEHOP protection for several of the Office 2013 applications or they would crash on startup:

    •Outlook
    •Word
    •Excel
    •PowerPoint
    •Access
    •Publisher

On a separate Windows 10 computer with Office 365 I did not have to disable SEHOP
You can search here: https://social.technet.microsoft.co...5/application-compatibility-issues?forum=emet for anything else that might apply to your situation.
