I installed it yesterday :cautious: and there there are some new added entries in the policy:
    User-Space-Entries:
    c:\windows\*\wmic.exe / Include=Yes
    c:\windows\*\reg.exe / Include=Yes
    c:\$recycle.bin / Include=Yes
    Guarded Apps:
    WIndows Powershell
    Alerts - Ignored messages:
    wmic.exe*

What else has changed we'll know after an official announcement

I have the closed beta versions. 4.4.4.1 hasn't yet been officially released by BRN.

reg.exe and wmic.exe can be abused to infect local networks\network shares; they should be blocked for the vast majority of users.

Powershell should always be executed with restricted file system and registry access rights - otherwise the system is susceptible to various exploits that abuse powershell. Once again, this applies to the vast majority of users.

    I got from support :
If you are a current user of AppGuard consumer 4.3, your license will auto update to 4.4. There will be no further sales for AppGuard consumer version 4.

The soon to be released AppGuard Personal is version 5.2. This version will replace AppGuard consumer.

AppGuard Professional is 4.4 which is not available to the general public.

If there is closed beta for AppGuard, it's time to coerce BRN to make AppGuard aware of other user profiles. :D:D:D:D

so what will happen with the licensing system, would we need to buy a new license for 5.2?

Current AppGuard beta testers. Barb mentioned that this is how BRN would transition from AppGuard to AppGuard Personal and Professional.

Months ago she said beta versions of Professional would be made available here at Wilders for beta-testers.

Beta versions of Professional will be "occaisional" = infrequent.

I looked at 4.4.4.1 - unless BRN made some last minute changes, it isn't completely ready yet.

I doubt BRN will mind now that it has already been revelaed on the forum. Maybe you will find a bug for them to fix. :)
